Crispy Tandoori Chicken in Microwave - Indian Restaurant Style.

 Tandoori chicken is traditional Indian populour dish.One of India's hottest selling food.Tandoori Chicken served with fresh onion slices and green chutney .Learn how to make tandoori chicken in oven.


Ingredients -

1.Chicken  -2 pieces skinless 
(Breast which include the wing)
2.Tandoori masala powder -1 teaspoon
2. Yogurt-2 teaspoon
3. Chill powder-1 teaspoon
4.Kasuri methi (crushed) -1 teaspoon
5.Salt - 1 teaspoon
6.Red food colour -2 drops                                             
7.Lemon juice- 2 teaspoons
8.Butter-2 teaspoons
9.Olive oil-2 teaspoons
10.Pepper powder-1/2 teaspoon
11.Coriander powder-1 teaspoon


Method -
  1. Clean,wash and pat dry the chicken.
  2. Cut deep slashes using a sharp knife.
  3. Prick the flesh of chicken all over with a fork.
  4. I st marinade -Take a small bowl add one spoon of lemon juice,yoghurt one teaspoon ,salt 1/2 teaspoon and red chilly powder 1/2 teaspoon .
  5. Mix well all together.
  6. Apply the marinade mixture over the chicken.
  7. And rub it into the flesh turning the chicken several times.
  8. Keep aside for 10 minutes.
  9. 2nd marinade- Take a large bowl .
  10. Add (remaining ingredients)
  11. Yogurt,tandoori masala powder,red chilly powder,ginger garlic paste,pepper powder, kasuri methi,salt,coriander powder,lemon juice, red food color and olive oil.
  12. Mix them all together.
  13. Coat the mixture over the chicken,rub it into the flesh.turning the chicken several times.
  14. Keep covered the chicken for at least an one hour in the refrigerator.
  15. Remove chicken from the refrigerator, at least 30 minutes before baking.
  16. Place the chicken on the top of high rack .
  17. Place the rack on the roasting pan.
  18. Preheat oven to 210 degrees centigrade.
  19. Put the rack in the oven.Bake for 20 minutes.
  20. When the timer goes off,take them out of the oven.
  21. Turn the chicken pieces up side down.
  22. Apply butter over the chicken.
  23. Grill them for  40 to 50 minutes until the juices run  clear while turning 2 times.
  24. When the timer goes off.leave a standing time of 5  minutes and remove the rack from the oven
  25. Serve with onion and lemon rings....
