How to make tomato ketchup

Homemade tomato ketchup. Definitely Everyone  Dress up this tomato ketchup on the Samosa, pizza, burger, noodles and some other snacks. Very easy to make. Here below given some simple steps of making the  tomato ketchup .


                  
Ingredients:

1. Tomatoes-1 kg
2. Chopped ginger, garlic–3 tsp.
3. Red chilly powder- 1 tsp.
4. Salt-4 tsp.
5. Acetic acid-1 tsp.
6. Cardamom -2
7. Cumin powder-1 tsp.
8, Black pepper powder-2 tsp.
9. Chopped onion-1
10, Sugar- 1 cup.
11.Cinnamon-1/2 tsp powder.
12.Sodium benzoate - 4 tsp.

Preparation:
  • Wash tomatoes, trim and cut. Strain the cut tomatoes through a fine colander.
  • Sieves by rubbing gently. Discard seeds and skins. 
  • Take a thick bottomed saucepan. 
  • Pours prepared tomato  pulp, chopped onion, chopped ginger, garlic, red chilly powder, and all spice powders.
  • Cook on medium flame. Keeps stirring. 
  • Cook the pulp till it thickens and reduced to 1/3 rd its original volume.
  • Remove from e flame. 
  • Add vinegar, acetic acid, and salt.
  • Add sodium benzoate at the rate of 700 mg per kg of finished product. 
  • Transfer ketchup  in bottles. And seal air tight with washed corks
  • Cool and store.
