Qubani ka Meetha (apricots sweet) is a very famous desert, This is served at most Hyderabadi weddings, Eid and parties. No Hyderabadi can ever be complete without the finishing touch of qubani ka Meetha. This dessert can be served with vanilla-ice cream or fresh cream. Today I am sharing with you one of the my favorite Hyderabadi desert Qubani ka Meetha (apricot sweet).This recipe can be easy to make at home. Learn how to make yummy Qubani ka Meetha.
Ingredients:
- Qubani dried apricots – 3 cups.
- Sugar-1 ½ cups.
- Water – 2 cups.
Preparation:
- Wash and soak apricots overnight or 4 -5 hours in warm water.
- Remove the seeds from the apricots.
- Break open the seeds and remove the nuts.
- Soak in warm water for 10 minutes.
- Peel the skin of the nuts and keep aside.
- Add water to the apricots, pressure cook for 10 minutes.
- When it cools. Strain the water. Smash half of them.
- Pour this paste in a thick bottomed pan.
- Add ¼ cup of water, sugar, and nuts.
- Cook in a medium flame.
- Stir continuously when the mixture thickens.
- Remove from the flame.
- Serve with vanilla ice cream or fresh cream.
