GULAB JAMOON

       Gulab jamun is a very delicious mouth watering sweat. I made this Gulab jamuns with Khoya and milk powder. Everyone likes to eat this Jamuns. I like to eat Gulab jamuns with ice cream. The following are the steps regarding how to make GULAB JAMUNS.           

                             

INGREDIENTS:
  1. SUGAR- 500  grams
  2. MAIDA- 50 grams
  3. MILK POWDER-60 grams.
  4. KHOYA CRUSHED -100 grams
  5. FLAKED ALMONDS - 6
  6. MILK- 4 tablespoons.
  7. BAKING POWDER (a pinch of)
  8. OIL FOR FRY.
  9. CARDAMOM POWDER -1/2 tablespoon .
METHOD:
  • Take sugar 500 g r, add  about 6 cups of water .
  • Boil sugar syrup on medium flame. About 10 minutes.
  • Add cardamom powder to the sugar syrup.
  • Sieve Maida  adds baking powder.
  • Take a bowl add Maida , crushed Khoya  and milk powder.
  • Pour 4  spoons of milk . Make a soft dough.
  • Keep it and covered  for 10 minutes .
  • Make small balls of jamuns from the dough.
  • Heat oil in a pan fry the jamuns on low flame until they turn into golden brown.
  • Take them out from the oil dip in the hot sugar syrup immediately.
  • Soak for 1/2 an hour.
  • Garnish with almonds.
