- Black gram -1 cup.
- Rice -2 cups.
- Oats [Quaker oats] -2 cups.
- Sodabicarb-1/2 teaspoon.
- Salt to taste.
- Oil-for making.
- Fenugreek seeds - 1/2 teaspoon.
- Chopped onion-1.
- Green chillies-2 [Cut into small pieces].
- Ginger -2 inch piece. [Cut into small pieces].
METHOD:
- Soak dal and fenugreek seeds and rice separately for 5 or 6 hours.
- Grind dal and fenugreek seeds with little water to a smooth paste.
- Remove and keep aside grind rice to a smooth paste.
- Mix dal and fenugreek paste with rice paste.
- Add little water if needed and keep overnight to ferment.
- Before 1/2 an hour making of dosa, add oats mix together.
- Add salt and soda bicarb and little water adjust to a spreading consistency.
- Heat dosa tava grease 1 teaspoon of oil , pour the batter over tava to make dosa.
- Sprinkle chopped onions, ginger, and green chilly pieces.
- Pour 1 teaspoon of oil to make dosa crisp.
- Flip dosa keep in medium flame. When the dosa become golden brown take away. Transfer in the serving plate.
- Remove and serve hot dosa with coconut chutney.
